It’s not everyday you get to experience a chunk of a country’s gaming culture outside of your own in a fresh perspective. Such is the case of us at SPOUT 360 when we visited the Pinoy Gaming Festival 2017 at the TriNoma mall in Manila, Philippines.
Big name publishers and developers like Ubisoft and Vainglory creators Super Evil Megacorp were there to showcase their latest titles and host tournaments for existing popular games. It may lack the polish of bigger gaming conventions and expos that have been around longer than 10 years, but what it makes up for is unbridled community love and crowd enthusiasm. This is after all a taste of things to come in the form of the upcoming Philippines game event Electronic Sports & Gaming Summit.
Check out the many pictures SPOUT 360 took to commemorate the festivities that happened during the weekend. We’ll add more pics throughout the next few days on this same post.
