To the south of the Moniyan lies a sapphire like speck amidst the misty mountains. It is in fact that Swan Lake, named after the beautiful yet authoritative Swan Castle that lies on the lake’s shores. Many years ago the Regina family fled from the empire;s capital to the lake in order to escape political conflicts and erected a Swan-like castle. According to legend that when Odette, the thirteenth generation scion was born, swans flocked to the castle to pay their respects. princess Odette is said to have a contagious smile, leading people to say she is a goddess in human form. In order to match the praise that people have piled on her, Windor mastered the most difficult of noble magics. Despite being universally admired, Odette had been lonely at heart until chance brought her to Lancelot, whose wounds had led him to faint on alongshore. During Lancelot’s recover, the two soon developed a deep unconditional love.
Odette excels in teamfights, thanks to her Ultimate Skill, Swan Song, having huge AOE to help clear out fights and a range of spammable skills. She is the hero to go for if you like Mages and teamfights.
- Menacing presence in teamfights with Swan Song’s big AOE.
- One of the best lane harasser and wave clear with her bouncing sound waves.
- Able to burst down heroes with Swan Song.
- Blue Nova can be difficult to aim and hit enemies.
- Her ultimate is easily disrupted through CC.
- She does not have high mobility and escape skills.
Concentrates energy to summon a swan to attack the enemy, dealing 250 points of magical power damage and reducing their movement for 2 seconds.
This is your main spammable ability, but is limited by the range of this spell, but grants you the bouncing sound waves with each cast.
CD: 11s Mana: 90
Fire a magic energy ball forward, will deal magical power damage to enemies hit and binding them for 1 second. After the ball has reached either it’s maximum range or hits a target, two extra energy balls will strike out to the sides, dealing 200 points of magical power damage and binding them for 1 second.
A CC skill that is spreads out in a T shape after reaching the initial range/hitting a target, potentially binding 3 enemies with this spell. However, it’s hard to aim and hitting 2 other targets is a bonus in most situations.
Swan Song (Ultimate)
Chants a song that summons an energy field to cause continuous damage, each time dealing 200 damage to enemies within the area. The field also increases sound waves’ rebounding speed and times. Damage taken while Odette’s casting this skill will be reduced by 30%. The field slows down enemies in it enormously for 2s at the beginning, then slow effect decays gradually.
Your big AOE ultimate that provides damage, slow and complements well with Lakeshore Ambiance. Never go into a teamfight without this.
Lakeshore Ambience (Passive)
Basic attacks are a spell cast will be enhanced with a rebounding sound wave. The sound wave will rebound amongst nearby enemies dealing 144-200 points of magic power damage.
The extra boost of damage from the rebounding sound waves can deal quite a bit of damage, especially casting Swan Song after there are sound waves bouncing around.

Emblems and Battle Spell
Magic Emblem is the main choice here, the best emblem out there for Mages currently. Flicker should be used as the Battle Spell, as it allows her to escape and get into good teamfight position for her ultimate.
Odette is great at harassing the enemy heroes in your lane, especially with Lakeshore Ambience. She can either solo mid or go to the side lanes. The range of your skills might be out-ranged by some ranged heroes, so be sure to be careful. Look to secure kills upon reaching level 4.
Get the blue buff as and when you can, and never go out alone at this stage of the game. Any teamfight that happens now is your playground and always make sure your Ultimate is off CD/nearing CD when approaching one. Your lack of mobility/escape means that you need to pay extra attention to your position in teamfights.
The huge AOE of Swan Song means that you do not need to be at the centre of the teamfight (where you get targeted and cc-ed easily) to deal damage. Learn the AOE and any enemies that is caught regardless of where they are in the ultimate will take damage. Use this to your advantage, because using your Ultimate during the late game when you are easily a target will not turn out well at all.
This video demonstrates how to play Odette as a solo mid hero, alongside her roaming and ganking capabilities, as well as giving an overview of her unique skills targeting.
