Remember that Dragon Ball FighterZ fighting game that was announced at E3 2017 and EVO 2017? Turns out the game has a release window now: February 2018.
Bandai Namco’s latest Gamescom video introduced a lot of new things apart from a release window:
-New characters: If you’re a fan of the “Cell Games” Saga of the Dragon Ball Z series, you’ll be pleased to know that Android 16 and Android 18 (w/ Android 17) are playable characters. Based on the gameplay trailer so far, Android 16 looks like a grappler while Android 18 has her pal Android 17 coming in as extra attacks.
-A story mode. Not much is known about it, except that it involves evil (android?) clones of the Z Fighters like Goku and Krillin, and somehow Android 16 is back from the dead.
-A sweet CollectorZ edition. Buyers will get an 18cm Goku Diorama with “manga dimension” colouring and 3 art boards, in addition to a steel casing. Check out the picture and the video below.
The beta for the game will start this September.
