With Hearthstone’s Journey To Un’Goro currently in the meta, fans are wondering what’s next in store for the online card game with quite an esports following. Blizzard Entertainment recently announced an update that will feature two big “quality of life” changes for its players.
Quest Completion Among Friends
First up: you can now complete quests with your friends! Last year, players get to play a short event called Friendly Feud which allowed quests to be completed when dueling with friends, but was removed when the event ended. There was a huge uproar from the community for the event to be back, as it not only allowed quests to be completed with much more ease, but also promotes the game to be played in a social setting.
Turns out Blizzard Entertainment will bring back this most-requested feature. Just remember: quests that require one player to spectate a game or to play against the Innkeeper are obviously not counted. Regardless, this is a huge step to making Hearthstone a casual and social game once more.
Copy-And-Paste Decks For Storing & Sharing
Hearthstone will also allow players to copy and paste and share their decks, whether for self-storing or for sharing among friends and the public.
Once your deck is filled with all 30 cards, you’ll see a ‘Copy’ button when you select the Hero portrait at the top of a deck in your collection, . Upon clicking it, the decklist will be “copied” to your clipboard, and can be pasted onto any text document as shown below:
The sequence highlighted in green works as a code; you can use to share your decklist. Hearthstone is able to tell when you have a valid decklist ‘copied’ to your clipboard and will prompt you to create a deck with the decklist you have copied.
This method makes it much easier way for the community to share decks, considering how the process back then was rather manual. Players can now share popular decks from high profile tournament players and streamers with a click of a button.
Stay tuned to find out when the Hearthstone update drops!
