With The International 7 having recently ended, there seems to be a lull in the esports scene for now. But fret not – Zenway Productions has some exciting events and tournaments – featuring Overwatch, Mobile Legends, Clash Royale and more – lined up for our SEA gamers.
Overwatch Open Division Season Two for Southeast Asia
The second season of OW’s Open Division will see more Master rank or higher players test their skills against the best talents in the world. It will no doubt be far more exciting than what season one has had to offer. You can watch it live on Twitch.
The Open Division rounds will be played online every Sunday, from September 10th to October 29th this year.
And speaking of OW tournaments, there’s one coming up that you can physically attend…
Overwatch Harvey Norman Gamers Cup
Casters Afiz “Sodafiz” M.Noor and Stephanie “Tsuki” Tan will take you through an action-packed tournament right here in Singapore. The first two qualifiers will be played online (watch it live on Twitch!) from 2nd to 3rd September and 9th to September 10th, culminating in the offline finals. Tournament participants stand to win over SG$5,000 worth of cash vouchers and prizes, and there will also be activities for tournament-goers as well.
And if you’re planning to compete, it’s not too late to join the first qualifier – you can register your team here. Registration for the first qualifier round closes on August 31st, 1200 hrs. If you’ve failed to qualify for that, fret not! Registration for the second qualifier round opens fromSeptember 3rd to 7th. 2017.
Come down to the Harvey Norman Millenia Walk Games Hub Atrium at Millenia Walk on September 23rd and 24th to watch the offline finals live!

Seletar Mall Esports Festival
September also sees the Electronic Super Cup, a week-long gaming and esports festival, featuring Clash Royale, Mobile Legends and FIFA 17! Gamers can compete for nearly SG$20,000 worth of cash and prizes in the comfort of a shopping mall.
And for those who aren’t hardcore, there’s plenty to see at the festival: Game Experience Booths are available for anyone to try out console, mobile and PC games, as well as lucky draws. Plus, you could meet gamer and YouTuber JianHao, or the reigning FIFA 17 champion, OoE.Ash. Challenge them to a game of FIFA 17 to win cash vouchers.
The Electronic Super Cup and the festival will be held at Seletar Mall from 11th to 17th September 2017.
Heroes Of The Storm Global Championships
For those of you who follow Heroes Of The Storm, the Global Championships, Road to Blizzcon 2017 Southeast Asia Regional circuit is happening in September. The winner of this tournament will obtain the title of Champion of Southeast Asia, and go on to represent SEA at Blizzcon later this year!
With a prize pool of US$15,000 up for grabs, this tournament promises to be an exciting season for fans in this region.
You can watch the championships live on Twitch. The first and second qualifier rounds will be on August 26th & 27th respectively, while the finals will be livestreamed on September 2nd & 3rd.
